http://www.FTV.com/videos NEW YORK - Everyone who saw the Spring/Summer 2012 runway show by Michael Kors said that his collection at New York Fashion Week was very "safari." And that makes sense when you learn he calls his collection "Afriluxe." There's nothing luxe about Africa right now, but regardless, the clothes truly make an impact, at least where Kors is concerned. He sort of infused his African safari pride with his ingenuity for true American sportswear--mixing in animal prints, cashmere, crocodile leather textures, and gladiator sandals, among colors that screamed African landscape (olive green, hand-dyed materials, brown, orange and khaki) for both men and women who walked out together in couples.
