http://www.FTV.com/videos LONDON - The iconic brand of British fashion Burberry Prorsum showcased it's Spring/Summer 2012 collection full of signature Burberry style and amazingly colorful looks. It was an upbeat show celebrating the thing that take time and effort to do (beading, crochet, prints, weaving, etc) but Bailey and team pulled it off beautifully. There's a story behind the collection, as well, a military wife with a husband in the Eat spends her free time learning from artisans and uses it to decorate her clothes--the Burberry trench is there but reinvented, with geometric patterns, beads, and unique dresses in an exotic print. Christopher Bailey was influenced by British artist Henry Moore in the tribal aspect of the collection, which doesn't really look tribal at all, but more ethnic in the Burberry sense of the word. The girls wear striped caps with pom poms, parkas, and animal prints in the wedges. Iconic as always down to the list of stellar models (Arizona Muse, Cara Delevigne, Jourdan Dunn) and the celeb-filled front row (Rosie Huntington-Whitley, Mario Testino, Poppy Delevigne.)
