From the red lips on the models to the colorful dresses, Luca Luca designer Raul Melgoza is ready to paint the runway with his sexy and feminine silhoutettes for his Spring 2012 collection, at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York.
Coining itself as a luxury-lifestyle brand, Melgoza says his Luca Luca Spring line is based on that philosophy.

"It wasn't really a theme-based collection. It was more of a feeling. It was more about like, a sensuality and femininity of a woman, kind of is where it all started."
His sensual mood was translated into flowy dresses in a paint box of bright popping colors.
Combining comfort with chic, the collection evolved into stronger cut jackets and tops paired with silk trousers which Melgoza no doubtly designed with his clientele in mind.

"I really dress a powerful woman, a woman who has an innate sense of style. They come to us because they offer clothing that's relevant, but at the same time has a long shelf life."
Highlights of his collection include this purple gown which glided down the runway, and this embroidered look which played with polka dots.
