And a Chinese blogger was released on Tuesday after nearly six months in detention.
The blogger, Ran Yunfei, is an activist for free speech. Authorities took him away in late February this year.
According to Ran's friend and prominent rights lawyer Pu Zhiqiang, Ran was charged in late March for so-called "inciting subversion," but the case was sent back to police.
Pu says although Ran has been released, he'll be under house arrest for six months. Ran won't be allowed to have visitors without permission or speak publicly.
