"Jaisamand wildlife Sanctuary is situated about 50 kms far from Udaipur rajasthan. The Jaisamand wildlife sanctuary have a large area about 52 sq kms of forests. The sanctuary is situated near the famous lake Jaisamand which is the Asia's second largest artificial lake. It was Established in 1957. The leopard, hyena, jungle cat, fox, wolf, sambar, wild boar, chital, bear, langur, chinkara, crocodiles, turtles, Different fish, Water birds, darter, open bill stork, pond heron, little cormorant and Indian shag can also be seen here in this Jaisamand wildlife Sanctuary. The Jaisamand Wildlife Sanctuary protects 162 kmĀ², mostly teak forest, on the shores of Dhebar Lake.
