This is Part 9, day 15 of our odyssey from Buenos Aires Round Cape Horn to Santiago and the Andes Beyond in December 2005. As the video starts rolling we’ve arrived in Chacabuco and are going by bus to the Simpson Valley. After a scenic stop we continue to Coyhaique capital of the remote Chilean Province of the same name. After a look about we reboard our bus once more and start back. A refreshment stop is made on route. Pisco (a regional grape brandy) sours are offered along with other beverages and a snack.

Once back on board the Norwegian Crown we have an opportunity to enjoy the view of the town plus the scenery. Then we’re off again, cruising north again toward Puerto Montt. Along the way we see more beautiful fiords and some of the glaciers closest to the equator anywhere in the world.
