Dr. Abbas Abusaleh is a well known Lebanese Historian and University professor. He holds his PHD degree from the University of Texas at Austin (graduated with distinction in 1971). Dr. Abusaleh is the author of many books, articles and journals. He taught post graduate students at the American University if Beirut, Lebanese University and Dhofar University of Oman. He is remembered among his friends and students for his knowledge and wisdom and described as being down to earth, balanced, patient and intellectual. Dr. Abusaleh died in 2011 following a battle with lung cancer.
