Weddings: Mistakes to Avoid When Choosing Flowers - as part of the Wedding series by GeoBeats.
Some of the mistakes that people make when hiring a florist or just when they have hired the florist and then they start deciding on the components of it, is again I think they forget how expensive flowers really are. And, you know, all of a sudden they are spending thousands of dollars on the personal flowers which really, if you are on a budget, you know, I would just go for much smaller bridesmaid flowers and maybe like a nice bridal bouquet. Just because no one, people see the bridesmaid's bouquet, but it's not something that is around the entire evening.
You know, and I would spend on a little bit more, as far as, like the center pieces. Things for, for example wherever you are getting married at the ceremony, unless you really require some kind of decor, I would stay away from altar arrangements and those kind of things. Again, only if you are on a budget.
If you have free spending money, I would just go all out, but just, you know, I think the center piece is a big piece of it. A lot of people are going to see that space for most of the actual wedding.
