How to come out of depressive and negative attitude?

Q : Pranam Gurudev. I am in the habit of remaining distant from people. I do not have any friend. And I remain silent. But this distance is because I hate them and see them as diplomats playing games and the silence from outside makes me depressed from inside, because inside too I see many vikaaras and it becomes unbearable. I am de-motivated most of the time. I try to bring a positive attitude towards life and towards people, but it lasts for some minutes only. Please do tell me what I should do, Gurudev. Gurumaa A: It seems to me that you are a depressed person, you are a negative thinker. So either you think negative about yourself or you think negative about others. You are not a silent person; you are just a meek & weak person. Otherwise, who gave you this right to hate someone, you cannot hate anyone. There is no one in this world, no one to whom we can be hateful, to whom we can be avengeful. Everyone is living their life; you too should live your life. Whatever is happening in ones life is because of their own choices, either good or bad. So they are to face the consequences. The same goes for you. So dont become a judge and label people as good & bad. Dont become a judge of your own actions too. Live your life in this way: 1. Focus upon your mental strengths and spiritual powers. 2. When you interact with others, you are compassionate and respectful for others. Those who are respectful for themselves but disrespectful for others are not wise people. We should be very compassionate for others but very disciplined & hard for our own selves. We need to work upon our minds fallacies and negativities. We have to rise above that, but you cannot rise above your fallacies by fighting & labelling yourself as a bad person. You need to go deep into the problem, analyse it, go into the source why these bad things are there in your mind, why vikaaras are there in your mind and then nullify those causes; and that is how you come out of your own negativities. Be a cheerful person, be a calm person. But dont be a judge, neither of others, nor of yourself.
