Take a look at this... In northern India, a sport of sorts is gaining popularity. Zorbing, as it's called, involves a person being put inside a huge plastic bubble, and being set loose on the slopes.
Tourists get a taste of adventure sports as they indulge in zorbing on the picturesque slopes of India's northern hill resort Nainital.
A zorbing ball is 16 feet wide and carries two persons inside.
Originailly from New Zealand, zorbing puts a person in a large plastic ball that rolls down a slope.
This adventure sport has now become the first choice for many tourists.
[Praful Deshmukh, Tourist]:
"This is for the first time I have experienced a zorb ball, it was a nice experience. When it goes upward it felt nice and the second round was good, so it was fun, I even had butterflies in my stomach, but it was a nice experience."
The rider is strapped inside the transparent inflatable ball and then pushed from a slope. It is a thrilling experience to roll down the incline.
[Netra Kharadkar, Tourist]:
"I was scared but when it started rolling then I felt nice."
The zorb can go up to 25 miles an hour.
