Medically-supervised weight loss programs are offered by Dr. Darm of Aesthetic Medicine in Portland, Oregon.

We perform laboratory tests to assess your heart, liver, and kidney function, as well as cholesterol and blood sugar levels. We also evaluate your thyroid hormone by looking at its active form, T3. Your percent body fat, lean muscle mass, hydration and metabolic rate will be assessed and monitored throughout the program. Your first visit will include a physical exam by our physician.

Our services include weekly weigh-ins and visits with our nutrition staff, as well as periodic visits with the doctor. During these visits, we will discuss all issues associated with your weight: medical, behavioral, emotional and environmental. During your fourth week of the program, you will begin attending our weekly weight loss classes.
