New York-based Chinese classical dance company Shen Yun Performing Arts always pulls in big audiences in Taiwan, and this year is no exception. The company is now in the middle of an eight-show run in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and audience members there are delighted with the show. Some have returned for their third consecutive year. NTD is a sponsor of Shen Yun in some areas. Our Taiwan bureau brings us this report.

Shen Yun Performing Arts is currently performing in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

[Shi Jun, Asia-Pacific Film Festival Winner]:
"I think it's rare to see this kind of high level, high precision dance and singing performance. In Taiwan, [we] probably very rarely see this kind of group. It really is hard to come by. It gave me the opportunity to appreciate [the show]. Extremely wonderful, extremely wonderful."

[Chen Bailun, Cello Teacher]:
"The acoustics, and the arrangement of the instruments, I think they fit together just right. It's extremely good like this."

One audience member saw Shen Yun three years ago, and decided he would see the show every year.

[Ke Kunyo, Studio Head]:
"I think seeing Shen Yun has a very special feeling— I feel like it's filled with righteousness, I really like this kind of feeling, so I will come every year, and I also bring my friends."
