Here's a video showing the actual speed of reading information in an RFID chip placed in a cryotube ICE® stored in liquid nitrogen.
The tube is released directly from liquid nitrogen; it is placed in the RFID reader connected to the computer managing the database.
Once placed in the RFID reader, the contents of the chip are available on the screen in less than 8 seconds.
