Flood warnings are in place for parts of north Queensland, Australia Thursday, as an active monsoon system in the region has led to rising river levels and road closures.
Australian media report several towns in the region are running low on food and medical supplies, but they're due to be flown to some isolated areas.
Only last month, Yasi, a category 5 cyclone, left trails of damage and destruction in the same area. More rain is expected in the next 24 hours.
