In 1987 tragedy struck when parents of 19 month old Carlina White took their baby daughter to the hospital due to the child having a fever. It was there that someone, likely posing as a nurse, took their baby. Joy White and husband Carl Tyson searched to find Carlina for years but would never see their daughter again…if it weren’t for what I’m about to tell you. In truth, Carlina grew up in Connecticut with the name Nejdra Nance to a woman who was addicted to drugs. Growing up something told the young girl that something just wasn’t right. Well Nejdra woke up to the realization that the woman that raised her wasn’t her biological mother when she herself became pregnant at 16 and asked her “mom” for her birth certificate to get prenatal care. When the woman couldn’t give her one Nedjra Carline connected with The Center For Missing and Exploited Children. Long story short, when Nejdra aka Carlina saw an article from 1987, her baby photo and an artists sketch of what the abducted baby would look like today, the writing was on the wall. After 23 years, daughter Carlina reunited with mommy Joy and daddy Carl in New York. Congratulations family. I know this moment can’t take those years of anguish away, but it certainly makes for a happy now. Distributed by Tubemogul.
