Roachford was the first artist to sign an amazing seven-album deal with Columbia Records. Being signed as a black British artist gave him a huge sense of achievement. The song that all of the Roachford fans remember and Love “Cuddly Toys” was first released in 1988 and only reached chart number 61 in the UK. The song was then re- released in 1989 and reached number 4, which brought Roachford the success that he had been working for. We asked fans what they like about Andrew Roachford, and what songs they were hoping to hear during the performance. We also found out if the fans were excited to hear his new material.
