Gangotri, India is a most sacred place, the start of the Ganges River. Many pilgrims and sages come through this place to see the Ganga River, and the temple to Ganga Devi, or to trek up to Gaumukh where the river originates. It is high up in the Himalayas, so you have to go through many mountain roads to reach it. But it is quite exhilarating once you reach it. This video gives a little view of what it is like.
