Lindsay Lohan has opened up about her addictions and admitted that she is no longer in a position to ask people to work with her.

The former Disney star was sent to rehab last year and is currently facing theft charges. She said she wants to get back onto movie sets, but no studio could afford to insure someone with her reputation.

"I don't think it would be fair to just say, 'Oh, this is who I want to work with' and expect that to happen. I have to build my way back up and I get that," she told an American TV show in her first post-rehab interview.

She added: "I don't want that to be what I'm known for anymore, the tabloid stuff. I don't want that."

The Mean Girls actress added that she is focusing on her recovery at present following her court-ordered three month stint at the Betty Ford Clinic.
