The Razzie Awards have handed out trophies for the year's worst films.
M. Night Shyamalan's 'The Last Airbender', a fantasy action film adapted from the animated television series Avatar, took home five awards for 'worst film', 'worst supporting actor', 'worst director', 'worst screenplay' and 'worst 3-D'.
The film made nearly 320 million dollars at global box offices, but it was widely panned by film critics.
Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, the four principle stars of 'Sex and the City 2' , were collectively named 'worst actress' at the Razzies. The film also won 'worst screen couple/worst screen ensemble' and 'worst prequel, remake, rip-off or sequel.'
The wins were determined by ballots from some 657 voters in the United States and 17 foreign countries.
