I had the video running this past March when Owen Glover, a guide at Expediciones Chile, attempted to hand-paddle the Throne Room rapid on the Futaleufu River in southern Chile. A legendary Class V rapid, with a slope/gradient and water volume that this video--or any video--cannot do justice to (this video was actually shot at low water !)
