Firefighters have been tackling a huge blaze at a chemical plant near Houston in Texas.

It follows a series of explosions that ripped through the plant in Mont Belvieu, which is located about 35 miles east of the city.

Mont Belvieu is a major natural gas liquid storage hub located north of the Houston Ship Channel and near a row of crude oil refineries.
