A host of Oscar nominees have taken to the red carpet ahead of the big night, for a luncheon.
The likes of Nicole Kidman, Colin Firth, Natalie Portman and Javier Bardem turned up for photographs and to be presented with a certificate.
All of the nominees took to the stage to receive their nomination recognitions and the stars had a few words to say.
Nicole Kidman revealed her daughter may tell her to wear a tutu to the ceremony, while Colin Firth was overwhelmed and said: "One does get asked quite regularly how one feels and of course it does change throughout the day, I feel I should take my temperature or something."
This year's luncheon was the best-attended ever with a record 147 out of 191 nominees turning up.
