Our Lady of Guadalupe is the Patroness of our chapel here in Griswold CT and therefore this Feast is upgraded to a Solemnity. Yesterday Guadete Sunday (3rd Sunday of Advent) fell on Dec 12 so this Solemnity is transferred to today. We rejoice and give thanks for the patronage of Our Lady of Guadalupe, for all of America, for our country, and particularly for this place, this place of prayer - its a place where we gather to honor Our Blessed Mother and to worship Her Divine Son.
