China's northern region has been hit with heavy snow as wintry weather takes its toll amid icy temperatures.
Snow has been falling in China's Heilongjiang Province and Inner Mongolian since Thursday evening. Temperatures have dropped to minus seven degrees Fahrenheit, the lowest so far this season.
Heavy snow and blizzard conditions have reduced visibility to about 300 feet and affected much of the transportation, with bus routes being temporarily cancelled in some areas.
