Elio Rietti (1900-1973) was an Argentine pianist, composer, bandleader and doctor. He led his own jazz band and recorded quite a few sides in the 1920's and early 1930's. He also regularly performed for radio broadcasts. He composed several well-known tangos and played with several famous vocalists and tango soloists. This brilliant recording was made in 1927. Later in his career, he became a doctor and left the music business.
