Federal authorities say they are looking at “less invasive” ways to ensure airport security amidst an uproar over new measures denounced as humiliating and overreaching. The procedure, which follows a series of foiled bomb plots, includes revealing body X-ray searches that reveals a virtually naked body, and physical checks in which agents pat passengers down from the breasts to crotch and ankles.
