Unfortunately I could only find very limited information about German-born cellist and bandleader Hanns Bingang (1894-1950), who relocated to Sweden in 1921. He was a prolific arranger and during a few years in the early 30's, he worked as a recording producer for the Swedish branch of the HMV Company. Later in his career he also arranged film scores for the Swedish SF Studios. This recording is very interesting since it features a totally forgotten tune by Helge Lindberg. What a delightful song though. Moreover, Arvid Richter's vocal on this 1929 recording is wonderful and the piece is skilfully arranged, as was to be expected from the talented musician Bingang was.
