McElroy's Spanish Ballroom was a very popular Portland, Oregon nightclub for many years and regularly attracted big name jazz and dance bands. However, since it is largely forgotten today, it is difficult to find information about this band. The present record was waxed in Los Angeles in 1926, with George Eichhorn on vocal. Although this song might not be too memorable, it is quite enjoyable and typical for the cheerful 20s. Moreover this disc is interesting since this tune was hardly ever recorded.
