Three days of intense storms in Bangladesh have forced 500,000 people from their homes, and lead to 15 deaths. At least another 50 people are missing.
Fifteen people are dead and almost half a million more are homeless after three days of intense storms in Bangladesh.\
Another 50 are missing, likely fishermen who were out to sea when the storms began to batter the country's coast with 1.5 metre waves on Thursday.
The storms also dumped 300 millimetres of rain, that's nearly 12 inches, causing flash flooding and tidal surges.
Many of the people hit hardest by the storm live in huts made of bamboo and straw along the country's water-logged coast, which is home to some 15 million.
With nowhere else to go, several families have set up camp along roads.

"I have taken my family members to a road side as water was up to neck deep, the water took all our belongings, we could not save anything, now we all are here on the road."
This is not the first time the low-lying country has weathered such powerful sea storms in recent years.
Over 3,000 people were killed by Cyclone Sidr in November 2007.
Hundreds more died when Cyclone Aila hit in 2009.
