Chris Noth has blamed the media for killing the Sex And The City franchise.
The second movie received generally poor reviews when it was released in early summer.
Speaking to New York Magazine whilst at a premiere in the US this week, the actor said:
"Your magazine ******* killed it. New York Magazine. It's like all the critics got together and said, 'This franchise must die,' because they all had the exact same review. It's like they didn't see the movie."
In SATC, Chris plays Mr Big, the love interest of Sarah Jessica Parker's character Carrie.
Chris has been a part of the franchise since the very first episode of the TV show and appeared in both movies.
Speaking at London Fashion Week, and when asked whether a third SATC movie was a possibility, Sarah Jessica Parker said:
"I don't know. I'm happily right now thinking about some other stuff that's been a commitment prior to any of those considerations so we'll see."
