Rugby star Gavin Henson has admitted he agreed to take part in the new series of Strictly Come Dancing in order to put his personal troubles behind him.
Speaking at the launch of the eighth BBC dance competiiton, Gavin said: "It has been tough. It has been stressful.
My personal life and career wise with rugby, they have both been stressful. And that is the reason I have decided to do this, because I haven't been sleeping well and I just want to take my mind off those things."
The Welsh international, who split from fiance Charlotte Church earlier this year, hopes his children will be watching.
"They don't know I'm doing it yet. They are a bit young, but Ruby used to love the show last year so it will be cool for her to see me on it this time."
