Julia Roberts has spoken about her latest role in new film Eat, Pray, Love saying she found the role satisfying.
The movie is an adaptation of Elizabeth Gilbert's bestselling book of memoirs, which tells the story of her travels and quest for happiness and fulfilment.
"You know, I haven't done a main part in a movie in a long time and I wondered if that kind of work load would still be interesting to me, and I was very happy at the end of this that I felt incredibly fulfilled as a creative person", the mother-of-two said.
Oscar-winning actor Javier Bardem stars opposite Roberts and believes the film stretches beyond the "chick-flick" tag.
"I think the movie speaks about people trying to face doubts, fears, insecurities and that relates to everybody," he said.
Eat, Pray, Love opens in the UK on 24 September.
