A recent report from the research firm Forrester predicts a nearly 7% increase in IT spending during 2010, driven (in part) by cloud computing technology deployments. With the increased adoption of cloud computing and organizations deploying databases in virtual environments, however, enterprises run the risk of exposing highly-sensitive data to a broad base of internal and external attacks.
