Father and son duo Stavros Flatley's secret to success on Britain's Got Talent was to get the backing of the audience.

The two made it through to the third semi-final on the show last year, but eventually lost out against fellow contestant Shaheen Jafargholi.

Looking back, 41-year-old Dimitri still remembers the nerves he felt when the two first took to the stage. They performed a hilarious Irish-Greek dance routine which resulted in an instant You Tube hit.

For Dimitri it was the support from the crowd which helped him get through all the auditions.

"It helps when the crowd is behind you. Having standing ovations ... we will never forget that."

Thanks to the success of the show, the two have since gone on to regularly perform at birthday and wedding parties, charity gigs and even entertained some 30,000 fans at a JLS concert.
