We had to get a glimpse at the GM’s new Chevy Volt, the electric car that can create its own electricity. Plug the Volt in, let it charge overnight, and it’s said to run on a pure electric charge for up to 40 miles. The Volt also features an OnStar mobile app that lets you use a smartphone to access the vehicle’s current electric range, fuel efficiency and also manage the charging functions.
