On Thursday, Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko hosted a meeting in Kiev with the European Union's foreign policy chief, Catherine Ashton, and the European Parliament’s president, Jerzy Buzek.
During the meeting, Tymoshenko and Ashton talked about improving relations between Ukraine and the European Union.
Buzek said the European Parliament and the European Union want to strengthen ties with Ukraine.
Tymoshenko reiterated her support of Ukraine's European integration.
Both Ashton and Buzek came to Kiev for Thursday's inauguration of President Viktor Yanukovich, who beat Tymoshenko in the February 7 presidential election.
