Sixty years ago,tens of thousands of starving,traumatized German children were given shelter by Swiss families. Thanks to the Swiss,these war-time children finally had what they had done without for years: food,clothing,shoes,and stability.These children have never forgotten their journey 'from hell into paradise'. When Edith Lang returned from her summer in Bern,she came back to a changed Germany.
