The Guggenheim is not the only project to have changed the face of Bilbao, a whole section of the Nervion River has been renewed. A pleasant boulevard, a bridge designed by architect Santiago Calatrava and a new electric tram have taken over from where the rusty cranes of the docks used to stand.
