Malaysia will host the 34th SEA Games from Sept 18 to 29, 2027, with events to be staged across four main clusters in Sarawak, Penang, Johor and Kuala Lumpur, Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh announced.

She said the Games will feature 38 sports selected based on Southeast Asian Games Federation requirements, venue readiness and other factors including core sport status, the Road to Gold (RTG) programme and the Podium Programme.
