Muddy goods sold off at Hat Yai market, deadly floods ruin shops' stock

The famous commercial hub of Hat Yai in southern Thailand is recovering from its hustle and bustle with clearance sale of bags and clothes covered in layers of mud at a market on Saturday (Nov 30).

Items that once cost 100 baht are now sold for 10 baht as flood victims returned to their premises to restore their daily lives after the deadly floods that killed at least 170 people.
