Weather Update. The Hyderabad Meteorological Department said that a low pressure area is likely to form over the South Andaman Sea this morning due to the influence of the surface cyclonic circulation that has persisted over the central Malacca Strait. It explained that this low pressure area is likely to move west-northwestwards and strengthen further during the next 48 hours.
మలక్కా స్ట్రైట్ మధ్య ప్రాంతంలో కొనసాగిన ఉపరితల చక్రవాత ఆవర్తనం ప్రభావంతో ఈరోజు ఉదయం దక్షిణ అండమాన్ సముద్రం ప్రాంతంలో ఒక అల్పపీడనం ఏర్పడనుందని హైదరాబాద్ వాతావరణ శాఖ తెలిపింది. ఈ అల్పపీడనం రాబోయే 48 గంటల్లో పశ్చిమ వాయువ్య దిశలో కదులుతూ మరింత బలపడే అవకాశం ఉందని వివరించింది.
