Expedition – Live 1970 (Canada, Hard, Blues Rock)
Killer raw blues guitar album fits into the same bag as Mendelson Mainline's first LP, which in turn places it somewhere near The Aynsley Dunbar Retaliation, early Savoy Brown, Fleetwood Mac, etc. Wicked doll-heads-and-skull cover design probably got hung up on a lot of crash-pad walls back in the day.
A band from Quebec, Canada, active from 1968 to 1974. The musicians never had the opportunity to record a studio album, but one of their concerts was recorded in front of a small student audience at a Montreal college and released as a private copy in 1970.
