Police crippled two major organized crime groups with the arrest of 17 gang members during "Ops Jack Sparrow" across Selangor, Negri Sembilan, Penang and Perak on September 11.
Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail said the suspects, aged 19-44, are linked to murders, armed assaults, robberies and arson attacks.
