ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లో స్వదేశీ ఉద్యమం సెప్టెంబర్ 20న ప్రారంభమైంది. ఈ ఉద్యమం డిసెంబర్ 25 వరకు కొనసాగుతుంది. ఆత్మనిర్భర్ భారత్ లక్ష్యంతో, దేశీయ ఉత్పత్తుల వినియోగాన్ని ప్రోత్సహించడం, పాఠశాలలు, కళాశాలలు, ప్రజల్లో జాతీయ చైతన్యం పెంపొందించడం దీని ప్రధాన ఉద్దేశ్యం. దేశ ఆర్థిక, రక్షణ, విదేశాంగ విధానాల్లో స్వావలంబనకు దోహదం చేసే ఈ ఉద్యమంలో ర్యాలీలు, ప్రజా అవగాహన కార్యక్రమాలు, స్వదేశీ వస్తువుల ప్రాధాన్యం మీద చర్చలు ఉంటాయి.
