Solo Ice Fishing – Off-Grid Camping & Wild Trout Catch & Cook

A few weeks ago, I couldn’t wait to start fishing in the mountain lakes again – but they were still completely frozen. So I thought: why not go ice fishing?
Alone and off-grid in the mountains, I managed to catch some wild brook trout and brown trout – absolutely delicious!The ice, however, was incredibly thick and gave me a real challenge...Still, it turned out to be an unforgettable solo adventure.
