उत्तराखंड (Uttarakhand) के उत्तरकाशी (Uttarkashi) में आई आपदा को बादल फटने से जोड़ा जा रहा था लेकिन वैज्ञानिक डॉ.डीपी डोभाल (DR.DP Dhobhal) का कहना है कि इसे देखकर ये नहीं लगता है कि तबाही बादल फटने से आई।वाडिया इंस्टीट्यूट के रिटायर्ड ग्लेशियोलोजिस्ट डॉ.डीपी डोभाल से धराली में आई आपदा को लेकर वनइंडिया ने एक्सक्लूसिव बातचीत की। डॉ डीपी डोभाल (DR.DP Dhobhal) ने हिमालय और ग्लेशियर पर काफी रिसर्च कर चुके है। ये केदारनाथ आपदा (Kedarnath Disaster) को लेकर भी काफी रिसर्च कर चुके हैं। डॉ डोभाल का कहना है कि धराली की आपदा भी केदारनाथ आपदा (Kedarnath Disaster) से मिलती जुलती है।
