A grand dharna was held at Jantar Mantar in the national capital Delhi under the auspices of the Congress party. The Congress took up the grand dharna with the demand for immediate approval of the bills passed by the state government in the Assembly and sent to the President, increasing BC reservations in education, jobs and local body elections to 42 percent in Telangana. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka and PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud participated. MLC Vijayashanti spoke at the event.
