He reiterated that India is firmly on the path to becoming the world’s third-largest economy. Emphasising the importance of self-reliance, Modi advocated for greater adoption of ‘swadeshi’ products. His remarks come in response to Trump’s recent statement calling India a “dead economy” over its ties with Russia.
