Egyptian Defense Ministry airdrops aid to Gaza

The Egyptian Ministry of Defense released footage on Wednesday, July 30, showing a military aircraft airdropping humanitarian aid over Gaza.

Four military transport planes took off from Egypt carrying tons of food supplies, which were dropped by parachute over areas inaccessible by land, according to a statement by the Egyptian Ministry of Defense.

The Gaza Health Ministry says 154 people, including 89 children, have died of malnutrition, most in recent weeks. A global hunger monitor said on Tuesday that a famine scenario is unfolding.
