Russia launched a large-scale drone assault on Kyiv overnight on July 31, triggering explosions and fires across the Ukrainian capital. The attack, coming from multiple directions, targeted residential areas and prompted the activation of air defence systems. Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klitschko confirmed the strikes and urged residents to remain in shelters. At least eight civilians were reported injured.
